Our main server, a young man named A., strolled around with a frilly toothpick in his mouth. My wife pointed this out, and his response was that the boss was sick that day and the toothpick helped him manage stress. I’ve never encountered a restaurant where staff used toothpicks to cope with stress. While there were definitely stressful moments in the dining room, the toothpick was unusual. This server ultimately cost Daniella's two stars.
The view was stunning, and both the food and service were outstanding. The prime rib was cooked to perfection.
The food was delicious, the service was excellent, but the restaurant is starting to look a bit outdated. Will I return? Absolutely! Friday nights are Prime Rib night!
The surroundings are lovely, but unfortunately, our experience was marred by our server, Valentina, who was quite rude and unprofessional. I was charged an additional $8 for something I did not order, and when I tried to address the issue, she responded with an exasperated "oh Jesus," as if assisting us was a hassle. She removed $2.95 from the charge but seemed genuinely irritated by the entire situation. We've dined here before and had excellent service, but her poor attitude completely spoiled our experience this time.
We visited for Mother's Day and noticed that the prices had been raised to $18.95 for the adult buffet, while children under 10 were charged $10. We saw other patrons leave after seeing the price sign. My wife and I were with our 2-year-old grandchild, who wouldn't have eaten enough to justify even a dollar.
