Today I decided to give a third chance. I've made 2 orders to go-Longhorn burger. it was home and not only my burger no longer bee, as ordered, but both orders had less than a handful of fries. seriously? with a minimum $4 tip for the take-out type. total cost 36 dollars and some changes. I said my wife, we'll try texas roadhouse tonight because of the last several times with longhorn. No, she didn't want to drive the extra few miles on the road. I should have left her call.
I have heard many things about longhorn steak house and here is the moment of my opinion. ambiente is clean and pleasant no bright colors that distract from their moments. the customer service was great from beginning to end. my children loved the experience and enjoyed their eating. we started with broth and butter, which was decent. then we ordered sirloin, worries and ripen. salates, fries and maize on the koka were on the sides. our steaks were on the spot after the addition of our favorite steak sauce. the only note was made by my wife on the ribs that were a little on the hard side. otherwise a great family option now and then. the price is something at the upper end in comparison to other steak joints, but it is worth it overall.
I have always liked LongHorn but last night really disappointing. We were finally seated (took longer than they stated because they had us as a group of 6 while there was only 2 of us? . Once seated we were greeted by Vincente who was to be our server. We ordered 2 mixed whiskey drinks from the bar. One with a coke and the other with a diet coke. Both came out with diet coke. I didn 't notice it at first because I was drinking my water. When I finally started to have my drink I realized it was wrong and sat it out at the end of the table to have them remake it. We had ordered the wings as an appetizer, a side salad, a baked sweet potato, and the cowboy ribeye to share. The wings and salad came out quickly and were good. Followed by the main entrée. The steak was a little undercooked but not bad. My wife enjoyed the sweet potato but I felt like it was a bit overcooked. The food was delivered by other staff but I had told one that I needed our server because my drink was wrong. He never followed up to replace the drink. Our server never came back to check on us after that. I finally flagged him down and asked for a to-go box and our check. After about 10 minutes I finally got the attention of the manager on duty. I told her that we had asked for a box and our check and had received neither. I also told her that my drink was wrong and that I didn 't want to pay for it. She said she would get us taken care of quickly. Very promptly another young man showed up with the to-go boxes and our server showed up with our ticket. I looked at the ticket and they had removed the drink per my request. I was pulling my wallet out to pay and the server walked off. I opted to pay via their Mobile Pay option because I had no idea how long it would take our server to come back and handle the check-out. The manager never came back by to ask what had happened or if we needed anything else. It will probably be a while before we consider going back.
Awesome management. I ordered a steak. It came out not the way I ordered it. The waitress came and quickly addressed the situation. The manager came out personally and spoke with us. He did everything he could to fix the issue. Left very satisfied. Awesome customer service which is hard to find these days. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Longhorn always serves fresh and delicious salads. I loved everything I have ever ordered there.
