Contribuiți la feedbackWhat a gem of a place! Klokkergården is a beautiful historical building filled with paintings and antique furniture (see my attached photos and is one of the most charming places I have ever stayed. This gem of a place has an outstanding personal service! The host – Malin Arntsen – makes you feel like home and with friends in a way that I have seldom experienced before! My room (Jenteloftet was very spacious and nicely decorated and had everything I needed. The room was perfectly cleaned. The bathroom was clean and spacious. Everything one would need (towels, hairdryer, shampoo etc. was provided. The restaurant features dishes based on the freshest locally sourced ingredients and the dinner was one of the best experience ever! They served an excellent choice for breakfast and they really presented it well. It is possible to climb the famous peak Rødøyløva (the Rødøy Lion from Klokkergården. Magnificent views – and a breathtaking 400 m vertical drop on one side! You are prepared for a sheer drop at the top, but most still receive a small shock when they look out over the top towards west. Allow 3 4 hours for the hike. After all a highly recommended place and I would love to stay here again! Regards Svein Magne Tunli from Bergen, Norway.
Overpriced and unfriendly (if you sit outside it's self service, still they ask you for tip when paying with CC). When I asked in English, I was denied even a soup outside (15min later they catered other guests outside with soup and other dishes).
Nice place but very unfriendly staff. Didn't feel welcomed at all and felt like a burden to the them....perhaps they prefer it when it's quiet??
Distinct and transitional interior, laying in wonderful surroundings and very close to the Sherpa stairs that lifts you to the Røydøyløva. Rooms were very charming, clean and comfortable, and the shared bathrooms were also appropriately clean and provided everything you need (some rooms had their own bathrooms as well). The hosts met you at the dock, some 2 km from the hotel, to drive you to Klokkergården, and could also drove you back after your stay if needed. Food was good, but nothing special.
Super friendly and a beautiful view :
