Vols Diner - Rocky Top

Yesterday, my mother and I dined at this restaurant and the food was simply incredible! We shared the French toast, but I really wish I had ordered my own plate. The staff was extremely friendly and the atmosphere made us feel right at home.

This restaurant is no longer operating as of March 2019. We were traveling and hoping to find a lunch spot as an alternative to Cracker Barrel, but unfortunately, the Little Vols Diner was closed. We are now on our way to Cracker Barrel instead.

The food and service at this restaurant are amazing! I would definitely recommend it to others.

The Little Vols Cafe is a much better option than Cracker Barrel. I had two eggs and fried bologna as well as two eggs and ham and I must say, the ham was one of the best I've ever had. The bologna was also really good. Upon entering, we were greeted immediately and enjoyed sweet tea, excellent service, and reasonable prices. The cafe is located off of exit 129 in the mountain city of Lake City, TN. Simply head west from I-75, go through town, and you'll find it on the right. You will not be disappointed. Despite only being open for two weeks, the cafe operated smoothly without any issues that I could see. I wish the owners a long and prosperous business.

Authentic mom-and-pop diner. It may be basic and straightforward, but the food is fantastic. This is a cozy spot for local coffee lovers, run by friendly owners who go above and beyond. And the prices? Extremely affordable! Don't miss out on the thick-cut bacon.
