Highway Diner - Rocky Mount

Loved this diner!!! Richard, our server was amazing! Better breakfast than I have had here in Orlando Fl! And the southern hospitality was great! We will definitely be back!

Mom and I wanted something good for dinner. Called in for takeout. Food was ready when I arrived. Had the fried flounder. Some of the best fish we have had in a long time. Coleslaw was awesome. Thank you staff for making a long week end nicely. PS: pecan pie topped it all off! Yum.

Service was friendly and fast and the food was excellent. I had the breakfast platter with a waffle and my wife enjoyed the country fried steak. Atmosphere very inviting. We were just passing through but would definitely hit this up again.

The BBQ chicken plate was amazing, BBQ is homemade and priced very comfortably. Wait staff is very friendly and the Banana split was to die for. This was my 1st time ever eating there, it was a pit stop off 95 for us, but we will definitely be visiting again in 2 weeks.

My wife and I eats at Highway Diner almost once or twice each week and we really enjoy our food and our waitress. Food is delicious especially the fried green tomatoes. I like eating there because breakfast is served anytime. Friendly people n great food with outstanding cooks.
