Earl's - Rocky Harbour

During our three-night stay in Rocky Harbour, we dined at Earl's on two occasions. Located in an unassuming building on the south side of town, Earl's is a hidden gem. Despite being busy both nights, the servers maintained their cheerful attitudes and were attentive to our needs. We particularly enjoyed the food, especially the scallops and French fries. Highly recommend!

Thank goodness Earl's was open later than what was posted, because we needed nourishment after hiking Gros Morne! We tried the moose burgers, which were great, and the moose pizza, too! Staff was friendly and quick to help us and have a chat. Great spot!

We were in search of a nice place for dinner and had heard a lot about Earls. The dining room initially seemed small, but it can accommodate a lot of people. Even if it appears busy, you should stop in as they will most likely be able to seat you. Our server was friendly and helpful, although too young to serve alcohol, so they had to call in someone else when I wanted a beer. I ordered fries with ground beef, which was delicious. However, my only issue is that the menu we were given only shows a small portion of what is actually available. The lady sitting behind us ordered lobster, which was not listed on the menu. Additionally, we spoke to another customer a few days later who mentioned they had ordered moose pizza, also not listed on the menu we received. I have no complaints about the food, service, atmosphere, or anything else. I highly recommend going to Earls as you will not be disappointed. Just make sure to inquire about items not listed on the printed menu.

Totally great food at a reasonable price. Busy casual atmosphere where the locals also hang out. Generous amounts of food.

Overated and disorganized. Pleasant staff but when asked server couldn 't identify 2 items on plate. Club house had the addition of ham which was too much. Jiggs Dinner satisfactory. When we ordered desert server was helpful with suggestions but stated that cheesecake was homemade so we presumed New York style cheesecake. The toppings were good but the cake itself was the unbaked whipped topping version for $8.99. Big disappointment! Confusion around the cash when paying. I would check out another restaurant first.
