Edohana Japanese In Rockwall

My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time last weekend, and we had a wonderful dining experience. Our server, Albert, was attentive and delightful. The fish we ordered was fresh and delicious, and the roll sizes were quite generous. If you're a fan of raw fish and nigiri, we highly recommend this place based on what we enjoyed. We’ve added it to our list of favorites. We've dined at Edo Japan, Kaizen, Basil Cafe, and Sushi Go, and we prefer this restaurant over the others. It’s a fantastic option if you don’t want to drive all the way to Dallas, Plano, or Carrollton.

This is an excellent spot for hibachi and sushi. If you're not in the mood for hibachi, you can still choose from a variety of options on the menu. The staff is very friendly, and the restaurant is kept very clean.

I've been a customer for years and never had any issues until October 29, 2022. My friend and I went in for hibachi for dinner. We were seated and greeted, but unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The rice was crunchy and the noodles were bland. The meat was okay, but it didn't taste as good as usual. I felt like my $80 was wasted. I contacted management through the website about my experience, but I didn't receive a response. I'm very disappointed.

The food was very good, however, the ventilation system needs to be improved the air conditioning needs improvement. I realize that a hibachi grill puts off heat, I feel for the cooks, but it was very warm before he began cooking. Also, they needto do a better job cleaning the floors, they were slippery. We have been here many times, will probably go again, but they doneed some improvement. I gave a 5 star, maybe for the food service.

We had great service, great food, and a great experience. The sushi was fresh and delicious. We were very pleased with our server as well. We did regular dine in, not hibachi. I have no clue why some of the reviews are so critical, but as far as sushigoes, this is one of the top in Rockwall.
