Golden Reef Diner - Rockville Centre

Brunch was wonderful. 6people all with different orders all delivered properly.

EXTREMELY RUDE OWNER AND STAFF. They charged me a dollar for each small square of cream cheese, even for the ones I did not use. The waitress did not say this would be extra and when I tried getting it taken off the bill the owner and waitress ganged up on me to argue about it ultimately not willing to take it off the bill. I usually come in once a week but now they lost a customer forever over cream cheese. They clearly do not care about the people who keep their business open.

One of the best Diner experiences I've ever had. Located right under a LIRR station (Rockville Centre); most of the tables were filled with customers and families on a late Friday at a time of night when I'm sure they had a few other options available nearby but they chose this place and everyone looked happy and like they'd been there many times prior...always a sign that this gonna be a nice experience as a first-timer. The decor is lovely, the staff is ridiculously friendly. I think their secret weapon is that they have a Gelato bar. And it is AMAZING. But the actual food is pretty great too at least what I had and my companions were very satisfied as well. I don't close to this place at all; I live in the Bronx, it's in L.I...but I'm definitely going back there again.

First time here. Service was great waitress was funny, we had burgers and mozz sticks all tasted great and cooked to order. Very pleased will return again
