Tijuana Mexican Café - Rockville

This place is great if you’re in the mood to come out and dance to bachata, or just dance in general. Their weekends (Fri-Sunday) are great for coming out and experiencing an enjoyable atmosphere. The price on the food is a little taxed and high in comparison to other Mexican spots in the area, but it is great authentic Mexican food. I am not familiar with the consistency of quality of the food but my first experience was great nonetheless. I ordered an order of the Taquitos, they came out in less than >10 min, and they were delicious. Big shout out to my bartender Odalis, she was very friendly and helpful with navigating the menu and restaurant as a first timer. I will definitely be back to try more dishes!

Because of circumstances out of my control, I have not been in a restaurant since 2020. This was the first restaurant I've been to in 4 years, and boy was it a disappointment. The food was mediocre at best, and the atmosphere was depressing as heck. Do not recommend. In all fairness, it was an off time for a restaurant. Also, I am not Hispanic, and this is in an Hispanic neighborhood. I am familiar with Mexican-American restaurants, not authentic Mexican. This is authentic Mexican.

The price is excessive, they want to take the tip by force and they take more than they should. I wouldn't recommend this place at all, I wouldn't go back even if they gave me things for free.

And I bought a lot of kisses, they always charge me and they never send me the food. I call the manager and he says, I'll talk to the cooks. I think they should have trained personnel for this because they always charge the money when I never complain to you, they hang up on you.

The worst service ever they literally threw the cake on my table thank you soul!!!
