The coworkers were rude, and the establishment was not clean. The owner really needs to take action to improve this location. The staff could benefit from customer service training. I would rate it 0 out of 5.
The first person I spoke to on the phone didn't speak English, so she transferred me to the manager. After explaining the situation, the manager informed me that the sandwich doesn't actually come with ham and salami. I corrected her, explaining that the menu says otherwise. Before she hung up on me, she told me to stop, which was quite unprofessional. I then reached out to Subway's corporate office, posted on Facebook, and tweeted at them, but no one has responded. It's incredibly disappointing, especially since I typically buy sandwiches from Subway once a week during the fall and winter. I won’t be buying another Subway sandwich until someone addresses this issue, and even then, I'm skeptical. They really don’t seem to care about their customers.
I ordered a Subway cold cut combo online using the app. I 've ordered from this franchise before and have never had a problem. But when I drove back home, I discovered my 'combo ' was actually an eight dollar bologna sandwich. No ham, no salami, which is listed as ingredients on the app and the online menu. I figured they made a mistake, and called the store to get them to make a new sandwich. The first woman I talked to on the phone did not speak English. She passed me to the manager, who, after I explained what happened, told me the sandwich did not come with ham and salami? REALLY? You 're going to flat out lie to a customer? I called her out on it, told her that was incorrect, and before she hung up on me, she told me to 'shut up, ****! ' Very professional. I 've contacted Subway corporate, posted on Facebook, and Tweeted while tagging Subway. No one has ever contacted me. A real shame, because I usually buy sandwiches about once a week during fall and winter. I won 't buy another Subway sandwich again until someone reaches out, and even then I doubt it. You don 't treat people that way.
I 'm surprised that this location has received so many bad reviews. I haven 't been here in over a year. The restaurant has been renovated and it looks so much brighter, cleaner, and more welcoming. Location: The restaurant is located in College Plaza and faces 355. Conveniences: There is one curbside spot out front. You tap I 'm here in the app or order confirmation email and they bring your order out to you. You can also place your order online or through the app and pick up inside. Staff: Only one female employee was working the register and filling the orders. She was friendly and pleasant. She only gave me two napkins. I wanted to ask for more midway eating my lunch, but she stepped away. Food: I got a 6 sub meal which included a drink and either chips or two cookies for $5.99 with a coupon that I got in the mail. I got the Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki. The filling for my sub was adequate and not skimpy. I was trying to get some veggies in and would have added cucumbers to my sub, but it didn 't look fresh so I passed. I did get onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and spinach. I also got provolone cheese, mayo, and sweet onion sauce. This sub is my favorite at Subway and I left happy and with a full belly.
