Mamma Lucia - Rockville

I ordered a New Year’s dinner for four last night, which included duck, pasta, salads, garlic knots, and desserts. Everything was packaged well, making it easy to serve. The entrees were piping hot when I got home, which was fantastic. There was more than enough food for all four of us. Thank you, Donna, for the friendly and excellent customer service. And thank you, Mamma Lucia, for making my New Year’s celebration special!

The large lasagna lacked a focus on preparing or presenting vegetables. Just so you know, the garlic knots that accompany the To-go lasagna were significantly smaller than the ones served with the appetizer.

Mamma Lucia is always fantastic, and it's my go-to spot. While others attempt to serve Italian cuisine, you really need Mamma in the kitchen to get it just right!

I've been going to Mama Lucia for years to do both. After countless visits I come again and again for the amazing food and warm, welcoming environment. You can pay much more for your Italian food, but you would be hard pressed to get better Italian cuisine!

We ate here for dinner. The lasagne was very good filled with lots of great tasting meat. The chicken piccatta was also very good. A light dish with lemon wine sauce and capers over the spaghetti. The Cesar and house salad was plentiful, maybe dry the romaine lettuce more as the Cesar dressing appeared watery. Can't say enough about the bread, so good!
