The service here is outstanding and quick. The food is absolutely extraordinary—definitely the best ramen in the area. This is not your typical college ramen; it’s fresh and delicious Japanese/Korean ramen featuring cuts of meat that you simply have to try. There are plenty of options for different meats or vegetarian choices, as well as varieties of noodles and broths. It's a must-visit spot when you're in the Rockville area.

An incredible restaurant hidden in plain sight! If you can, go early; by seven o'clock on a weekday, the line was already out the door. This cozy Japanese eatery offers delicious ramen, and every dish, from appetizers to desserts, is fantastic. The staff was quick and very helpful in explaining the menu during my first visit. I can't wait to return soon and keep trying new dishes!

Even after traveling all around the country and trying ramen joints in every city I can, Maki remains my gold standard. The place is small so it fills up quickly, but even when you have to wait it is well worth it. Best ramen in the DMV area. However I believe they are inconsistent with some of their other dishes. We ordered the pork belly bun and it didn't look any of the other pictures posted.
