Truly authentic Japanese cuisine. I spent three years on Kyusu back in the sixties, the food at Sushi Luck is prepared in the Japanese tradition and has not Americanized. If you are looking for buffet dining this is not the place. Owners Yuji and Tatsumi Isada are wonderful hosts and will provide you with a great dining experience. The restaurant requires reservation. If you are lucky and they are not busy, they will serve you. The food is very delicious and very fresh. Authentic Japanese cuisine. I would come back with my husband

Happiness, Sushi Happiness! I regularly visited Rockport and I really wanted to try this sweet little authentic Japanese sushi restaurant. I saw Takoyaki on the menu and it brought me back to my Tokyo days. Not many J restaurants in TX make takoyaki. I enjoyed these delicious octopus balls with the smoked fishflakes above. I also ordered classic edamame; beautifully spiced and fresh. Spicy Tuna roll and CA Dream. Everything was good, fresh rice, nicely rolled and prepared by a man/woman duo. I ordered for the pickup. I would like to go back and have some sashimi and potato croquettes for dune on a day.

We visited Rockport with one goal in mind: enjoying fresh seafood at weekends! This place has definitely not disappointed as one of the stops in our search it was absolutely fine food and very exquisite and tasteful. Will definitely go back at the next visit. We stopped by a Friday and saw that they are only reservations, so you dived to make a reservation for the following evening. When we arrived next night, our table awaited us immediately. We have a baby and one thing to mention is that they have no high chair there! Fortunately, we had a booster seat with us, but had to order the food if not. Overall had such a pleasant time, and there were several menu options for baby to enjoy.

Hands down the best sushi place we have for years. Everything was so fresh and tasteful. It is in a small house and only after reservation, but we will go there once a month when we are in town.
