Boathouse Country Inn & Tavern

Never stayed here before but all 11 of us (Lockheed Martin Dive Club) absolutely loved our 8 day stay. The staff (Kyle was our initial contact) made us feel like family and everything was perfect. If you like small town charm and service; stay here.

We have been coming to this restaurant for many years and enjoy looking out over the 1000 Islands. The food has always been good however when we went there yesterday we were very disappointed. The burger was unacceptable and most likely either not a beef burger or one with too much filling in it and it was cold as were the french fries. When we advised the waitress she offered to cook the burger more (which was not the issue) and said she had never had anyone complain. She did take back the fries and replaced them. No offer made to take the burger off the bill which I did not eat. My partners fries were also cold but she did not ask if his meal was ok (fish and chips). We will not return to this restaurant and will not recommend it to anyone.

Our waiter was only friendly when it came time for the bill to be payed. Cold soup and fries. The fish was very good.He did bring more fries when i mentioned they were cold.

Eight of us had a table to ourselves and all had a delicious meal. I had the arctic char special and it was to die for.

We have not been here for a couple of years and glad we decided to return.We enjoy sitting on the deck with a terrific view of the river, watching the boats etc,Everyone was friendly and the food was good with very generous portions. My husband ordered a half rack of ribs and while they were good found the sauce a bit too strong. Otherwise a good dinner.
