It was pretty decent. It tasted a tad different than another location I'm familiar with but it was still pretty good. We had to wait 15 minutes for chicken to cook which wasn't a happy moment had they told us at the speaker we probably would have went else where but it is what it is Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner

My husband and I each ordered a regular BBQ Plate. His sides were baked beans and fries, mine were slaw and potato salad. We requested the red sauce and we're glad we did. Otherwise the BBQ would have been bland. The hush puppies were crisp, lightly sweet, and pretty good. The slaw was okay, lacking in flavor that I became accustomed to at my Grandma's table. The potato salad was good. My husband said the baked beans were too sweet for his taste. But overall we enjoyed our meal. We probably won't visit another Smithfield's because we like more flavor than the meal provided. The service was good. Staff took care of us while we were there. The oldies music was really nice and not too loud. The restaurant was clean but the fans blowing all over the dining area do cool the meal down quickly.

Paid 13.76 for a spoon full of food. Over priced the kids chicken tender box.disappointed
