Rockford Lou Malnati's Pizzeria

I lived near a Lou's in Buffalo Grove. So sad not having my favorite pizza around when we moved to Davis Junction. Very excited when they opened one in Rockford. They didn't let us down. Still the best deep dish, butter crust pizza around.

This was the BEST Pizza I have EVER eaten. Man was it good and tasty. Will visit again soon.

Best Chicago deep dish pizza, everything made in-house, you can get a layer of Italian sausage on your pizza under the sauce, or crumbles and their gluten free pizza is the best one I've found, all made fresh in-house, even the gluten free crust. They brush their crusts with garlic and butter and you'll find yourself eating every single bite. Only wish I had taken photos to share with you.

We slid into Rockford specifically to savor the “Lou” pizza at Lou Malnati’s without having to wade into Chicago area traffic and roadways m. It was at the same exit as our Holiday Inn. Bought two of the Lou’s and one of the thin crust “Lou.’ Marvelous! We took the balance of them home several states away the next day and, after reheating, we’re still impressive. The thin crust was a nice surprise band will consider ordering it whenever we return to a Lou Malnati’s. Also, ordered the “Malnati’s” salad. So delicious, we devoured with gusto across two meals: fresh Romaine, mushrooms, black olives, tomatoes… Can’t wait to return far everything!

Awesome deep dish pizza.Never buy a small. The price of medium and small are almost the same. Always buy medium or large.Food: 4/5
