Josef Bados Steakhouse Oyster

The New Year's menu was a prix fixe option. We enjoyed the NY strip, tenderloin, and salmon teriyaki.

The best restaurant in Rockford, without a doubt. We'll definitely be coming back many more times.

We had dinner at Josef’s during the week and had a great experience. the food (steak and scallops) and wein were so delicious! this evening there were a few bigger parties, so our server tried to keep all this. another server came and took over when that was detected, and actually redeemed this situation.

We had 6:30 reservations. We did not get our meals and after many attempts to find out what was going on, we got up and left at 8:30 without ever being served. They did comp our drinks and appetizer however, it was little compensation as we were there to celebrate my mother's 86th birthday

We sat in the winery, which has fewer tables and is quite lovely. We were informed that due to the high volume of reservations that evening, this was the only available area, even though there were several empty tables. Overall, everything was great, but we were a bit perplexed by the situation, especially since it was clear that other tables were available.
