777 Asian - Rockford

This is likely the only authentic Chinese restaurant in the Rockford-Janesville area that you can find without driving to Chicago. While they do offer American Chinese dishes, they are unafraid to showcase their authentic chef's special noodles. The chef is dedicated to creating genuine noodle dishes, and the portions are quite generous. The oil-splashed noodles are particularly flavorful.

Finally, there’s an authentic Chinese restaurant in Rockford! I tried the Lanzhou beef noodles, and they were excellent—the sliced beef was incredibly tasty. My partner ordered the water-cooked beef, and it also had a great flavor. We will definitely be back to support this restaurant again!

Really amazed that rockford has an authentic szechuan restaurant now. I and my fiancée ordered the mapo tofu and szechuan cooked fish (extra spicy). the portions were huge and the aromes from the sekhuan pfeffer grains and fresh ginger and garlic all reported together perfectly with the white fish. ive had a lot of Szechuan food in chicago and madison and this place is very good in comparison. please support this business. they also have American Chinese food when they are looking for this. but their authentic Szechuan dishes that make it easy to become one of the best Asian restaurants in the environment.

Excellent eating. if they are looking for authentic Chinese foods, this is the place where the noodles are made to house and the dishes are beautifully spiced. the spicy dry pot is more than enough food for 2.

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant, and the food was fresh. My dad's side of rice noodles was particularly fun, as they made good sticky lasso shapes. The only suggestion I have is to consider getting new tables, as the ones currently in use feel a bit old and sticky.
