Shanghai Memory Chinese Restaurant

Housesitting in Monterey and felt like a take-away Chinese, this was quite close so decided to try. We got combination fried rice, sweet and sour pork and satay beef, which they forgot to deliver, even after repeating the order back to me! The food was good, espcially the rice. It didn't take long for the beef dish to be delivered and would definitely try again if we are ever in the area.

Mapao tofu and mushroom dishes are perfect for vegos. So are other items on the menu. Very nice and pleasant experience with steaming hot food served with care.

I love the way they served the food. Well presented and staff is great too. I recommend to order dumplings and fried chicken. SuperB!!!

Heard great things abt this place in terms of food...45 min after we had placed our order and still waiting for our food on a tuesday night. Service very slow i guess... very disappointed

Hi Everyone, I'd just like to mention a restaurant called "Shanghai Memories" in Rockdale.It's very popular with the locals, and I can personally recommend the Won Ton soup, Sweet 'n Sour Pork and the Great Yellow Fish; which is a boneless deep fried Barra in a sweet sauce with prawns.Yummy.
