Eating not excellent, but ok to eat, but very over price
There are not too many Bengali foods in sydney, so it is good to see that the few who exist are of good quality. this place meets the nail on the head when it comes to the North Indian food and for those who are aware of the subtleties between different subcontinental regions, they use shorter corn aromatic rice instead of basmati in the biryani, giving it a unique rich in the North. However, eating can be a little expensive and I would definitely recommend going with several people and sharing a few dishes instead of just ordering a single biryani each.
In the name of kacchi biryani sold hüttenbasar in the grunde mutton biryani (fyi they are not the same as many people think). get her recipe right and stop our amazing kitchen. her bhuna khichuri is great, but this is not why I traveled all the way to rockdale.
