Pronto Pup - Rockaway Beach

People are standing here for the huge corn dog on the roof. The “Pips” are quite salty, sometimes they are decent, other times not so much (as the roasted oil might use a change). They are also closed most of the year. Basically, it's a tourist trap.

Love it! It's the best by far. Beats out the Pronto Pup stand near Lincoln City and the one in Seaside. Great balance of batter to dog and the all beef dog is excellent quality (and significantly better and larger than the one in Seaside). Staff is very friendly. I highly recommend it. I'll definitely go back again and again.

While on vacation earlier this month, my son and I walked across the street to get some lunch. The corn dogs were amazing. The batter was nice and crispy without that sweetness that the store bought corn dogs have. My son got the spicy sausage corn dog. He really enjoyed it. It was not enjoyable to me as it was just heat, I think it was cayenne, and masked the flavor of the sausage. The fries were hot and perfectly cooked. The hours are currently different then what was posted online.

Good, fast, and delicious corndogs. The staff was friendly. They have a few different varieties of corndogs. The original is great, the Louisiana and sausage with jalopeno were good too. They only have ketchup and mustard. A honey mustard and/or sweet BBQ sauce would be good options.

I love to go here every time we go to Rockaway. Pronto Pups are to die for and very affordable.
