Thai Namphet restaurant is a true gem, offering exceptional service and a charming, chic decor that elevates the dining experience. The red curry is bursting with flavor, the drunken noodles are a must-try, and the Thai dim sums are simply delightful, melting in your mouth. This restaurant was on our list of places to try, and we visited for dinner last week. It did not disappoint! We were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived. It's a cozy spot that feels like a family-run business. Our server was extremely friendly and accommodating. We ordered a few dishes, including fried rice, pad kra pow, drunken noodles, and Thai iced tea, and everything was incredibly flavorful and delicious. It's rare these days to find a restaurant that offers a selection of spicy sauces on the side, which was a nice touch—I often enjoy my food with a bit more heat. We will definitely be returning!

We'll, another trip to the area so I thought I'd give Thai Nam another go. This time I got the garden salad with ginger dressing and Pad Thai with chicken 1 Star. The garden salad was very fresh and the ginger dressing was out of this world and they didn't skimp on it either. The pad Thai was very good. It was slightly burnt as some other reviewers have said, but it wasn't distasteful and actually grows on you as you eat it. The one star spice was perfect. I used to do five stars but have cut back as I've gotten older. I like the flavor and a slight kick but not misery. When I get one star, sometimes I'll ask for something to boost it, but this didn't need it. Overall, I'd give this trip a 4.5 star review.

Had dinner on a rainy and cold night in Rockaway. The food was good and the shrimp were large and the dish tasty. Service was good and I'll probably be back to try their Pad Thai.
