Sam's Deli 2 - Rockaway

The toppings and sauces were disorganized, but the meat itself was tasty.

This restaurant did not have more than half of our order and did not inform us. Additionally, neither of the two sandwiches we received had the toppings we paid extra for. We had to contact customer service ourselves to request a refund. We were disappointed with this experience at the store.

During a visit with friends in New Jersey, we decided to order sandwiches from Sam's 2 online. We randomly chose this restaurant through a Google search. We ordered a brisket sandwich on a roll and a Sloppy Joe on rye bread with horned beef, turkey, Coleslaw, Swiss cheese, and Russian dressing. To our surprise, the portions were huge - we received 6 large sandwiches instead of 2. Despite our intention to only eat a little, the sandwiches were so delicious that we couldn't stop ourselves from finishing them all. The bread was fresh, the meat was plentiful and flavorful, and the Coleslaw was perfectly crunchy and not too wet. Coming from Connecticut, we can confidently say that there are no delis in our area that serve sandwiches of this quality. Are Sloppy Joes a New Jersey specialty? Additionally, the price for these substantial sandwiches was under $9 each, which we found to be unbelievable. We will definitely be returning to Sam's 2 the next time we are in the area. Highly recommended!

The food at this restaurant is excellent. A friend suggested I try it out, and I was unsure at first, but the food turned out to be amazing. They make a lot of their dishes in-house, resulting in great quality and delicious taste. I am looking forward to coming back soon.

This restaurant has an amazing selection of great food! The staff is always very friendly and even when it's busy, you never have to wait long. I have never ordered anything that I didn't like, from their fries to their sandwiches to their falafel. Everything is delicious and I highly recommend it to everyone living nearby.
