Taqueria El Manhattan - Rock Hill

This restaurant offers a truly authentic 5-star experience. Even though the app only allows a 4-star rating because it's not completely vegan, the food is delicious. The rice is cooked with vegetable oil and is very flavorful. The refried beans are vegan and some of the best I've ever had. The vegetarian fajitas are tasty, and we also tried the spinach enchilada without cheese. The guacamole comes with jalapeños, which we enjoyed, but you may want to ask for it without if you don't like it spicy. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. We will definitely be returning in the future!

The restaurant is very understanding of dietary restrictions and is accommodating. The vegetarian fajitas are tasty, but if you're vegan, be sure to request no sour cream or cheese on the side. I've witnessed customers asking for a taco salad with no meat, and instead of rice and beans, with no cheese or sour cream. The staff was very understanding, and one server is pescatarian, meaning they occasionally eat seafood but are mostly vegetarian.

We entered thru the side door and were told to sit anywhere and they would be right with us. A few minutes later, a couple came in the front, were seated and given menus and drink orders taken. It was several minutes later before someone offered us menusand our drink orders were taken. After that the service was good and the food was excellent. I advise going in the front door ifyou want to be served in a reasonable amount of time.

This is always one of the best choices for Mexican food and they have a full bar. The food is consistently great tasting with portions relative to cost. They have Taco Tuesdays and also have live acoustic music on various evenings. Service is normallyvery prompt but I have also had servers who do not check back on the table after food is served and I have had to get up to askfor items. The good food makes up for the few times the service was lacking and I will continue to visit this restaurant.

The food was fantastic and served in generous portions. I will definitely be returning!
