Triple P Bbq - Rock Falls

I give a three because I felt so bad for the staff. we visited the vatertag and they were from burgers and ribs. our waitress was very apologetic and explained that they only lacked 1 cook and several employees. eating was ok, not impressive, which was surprising as we had previously visited the other location and thought the quality was good.

This was our first visit and we really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because we had 2 waitresses due to a shift change. The first one was great but the 2nd one not so much, she was not attentive and got part of the order wrong. We did not complain because it was getting busy and we had an appointment to get to soon, hopefully she was just having a bad day and will improve.

Was there on Friday,February 11th. There were 4 adults and a child. We all ordered meat plates with brisket and chicken. We ordered the brisket “fatty” cut. What we got was dry, hard and tasteless. We have been here twice before, and the food was good. But this time it was awful. We wound up bringing most of it home to try to eat it for dinner the next evening. It was even worse the next night. Our total was $150 for the four of us and a child. A lot of money for food that got thrown away. I don’t know if I will go back. I would like a partial refund.

Had a mixed plate of smoked meats tonight and it was all delicious!!! Best ribs I have tasted. Burnt ends and Brisket were fantastic! Mac and cheese, cornbread and pasta salad were very good. I tried each of their several sauces and really enjoyed them all. I am excited to bring my family here. Service was really good too ?

Had mac and cheese sundae with pulled pork and BBQ beans in a mason jar. Added some spicy BBQ sauce to it and I wished there were 2 of them. Good portions, it was just that good. Definitely will get again
