Chicken was warm not hot corn cold. Thats the last time I go to this restaurant. Even all the good staff that used to there have gone. Last of the old staff was leaving today.
I went there for Christmas dinner again second year and I will definitely go back the food was amazing the staff was amazing us as a family had a lovely time thank you team shorehouse I will definitely see you next Christmas
We decided to book the Harvester for our Christmas meal this year hoping for a more relaxing experience than having it at home, but we were disappointed. The older lady with short hair behind the bar gave us a lovely welcome, but once we were seated at our table, it was clear that the staff was overwhelmed. Issues with every meal arose, including cold and awful vegan options. Some dishes were brought to us by mistake, while others took a long time to arrive. When my dish finally came, it was lacking in portion size and quality. Despite numerous problems, the restaurant refused to provide extra potatoes to make up for the mistakes. The Christmas menu items were either cold, bland, or off tasting. As someone working in the hospitality industry myself, I found the experience to be extremely disappointing and will not be returning. Additionally, other tables around us complained of similar issues but were offered free drinks and an apology.
We decided to give this restaurant another chance despite previous experiences of cold food and poor service, with the exception of Abby. We were still left feeling disappointed after this visit. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome from Glenn. It seems that the manager could learn a thing or two from him. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. Despite requesting hot food, our meals arrived on cold plates and were overcooked. When we raised this issue with the waitress, she seemed indifferent. A negative review I left was not published. We will not be returning or recommending this place to others. It would be advisable for the owners to address the manager's attitude issues. A friendly welcome goes a long way, but he appears unable to muster a smile.
Despite having receipt to show we were customers, europark insist we pay £100 fine for not entering our registration. I displayed my disabled badge and didnt realise we also had to enter reg. Fuming.
