Cumin Club - Rochester

This restaurant took my booking for a table and when we arrived I was kept waiting for 10 minutes as they looked for a table for me then said they had given the table away but we was on time Then asked me to wait for another 20 minutes for another table with no apology I would not go here again ever as the customer service was terrible

We had a nice meal, a varied selection of main dishes, I tried a dish I had not had before, it was very nice. Recommended.

Came as a work office meal. Restaurant was quiet when we arrived, but it was only 6pm on a Monday. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Good selection on the menu and we were informed they could prepare anything that wasn't on there. The food was absolutely delicious and there was plenty of it! Would definitely return.

I recommended this place to my friend as a great place to eat, contemporary cuisine and excellent service. A lot had changed in 2 years. The service is still great but I felt they prefer to host larger groups because if you 're a couple you 'll be placed in a row down the centre of the restaurant so you feel like you 're eating in a corridor. The 'connoisseur ' menu sounds enticing as is a step away from your usual curry house offering and from experience was worth it but not this time. Chewy overcooked meat and over salted. On top of that the large groups of drunk middle age men trying to start fights with each other were equally off putting and we thought at one point our food and table would go flying. Could not wait to leave. Expensive for what it was.

Terrible experience food was cold and some of it uncooked. Wrong orders delivered repeatedly. It’s quite hard to mess up a curry dish but I’m afraid this restaurant managed it.
