Sushi Coup - Rochester Hills

I was curious about this place because I'm new to the area and I love Sushi. Soon as I walked into this establishment, the smell of sewage was horrible. There were used eating trays, and the trash can was also overfilled. Not to mention, the employee was sitting down, reading a book.The first impression is everything and therefore I will find another Sushi place to eat. Because if it smells this bad BEFORE I order my food....... ?I will just find somewhere that is more pleasing to the eye and doesn't make me gag.

I give this place a 5/5 for many reasons! First of all the food was great, presentation was 10/10 and the taste was phenomenal. The service was over the top spectacular. They took their time making the food to perfection. They take it very seriously and don’t go cheap at all. We tried two of the sushi Sandos and the sushi nachos. We will be back again to try more items!!

I am a huge sushi lover so I was very excited to try this place out. I decided on a poke bowl and created my own. It was pretty good. Fresh fish, decent portion. However, the avocado in my bowl was not ripe whatsoever. It crunched when I bit into it. There also just wasn't enough sauce in my opinion. I know you can order extra, but it just felt like way too little. Feeling a little underwhelmed after spending 15 bucks on it. Will probably come back to try the more popular sushi sandwich, but won't make this my regular poke bowl place.

The food was amazing and the guy behind the counter was very nice! We got the chicken wings and a Hot Cheetos sando with spicy shrimp. Will return!Food: 5/5

My mom and I each got a salmon sushi sando and split the Okonomiyaki fries, I’d get extra sauce on the fries next time but amazing! Want to come back soon!
