With the rest of the world going to fast food or one step up from fast food, the Chillies and Olive Gardens, Gold Star however is an example of what a family dinner should be a service to the community. Owners and staff remember your name and your kids names. The food is far more of a value than any of the franchises where you pay more for the advertising than the food. My favorite there is the Friday Fish and Mac. Have that one time and I know you will agree with me. Spinach pie is good too.
