The other three people were helped and left, while I continued to wait as more dine-in customers came in and received their food before I did. Eventually, an employee informed me that they were out of chicken. At this point, I was extremely frustrated, having already waited 30 minutes. He told me it would take an additional 15 minutes, and since I had already waited this long, I agreed to stay. However, the chicken sat on the grill unattended, and all the employees disappeared into a back room, leaving just me inside. After waiting another 20 minutes, they finally started serving the chicken, but to the dine-in customers instead of me, who had now been waiting for nearly 50 minutes. I approached the counter to ask when my order would be ready, and that’s when they finally began to prepare it. Once I received my order, I asked if I could be compensated for the outrageous wait. I had been there for a total of one hour! I usually don’t complain, but with five employees on duty and none of them attending to mobile orders—orders that were placed ahead of time—this was simply unacceptable. The response to my request for compensation was no. No refund, no free bag of chips, nothing at all. I have never been so taken aback by the service at a quick-service restaurant. They completely wasted my time, and I will not be returning.
This might be the worst Chipotle in the Metro Detroit area. Every time I've ordered fajita veggies, they’ve never included them. They’ve also forgotten to put lettuce on a salad order, and lettuce is supposed to be standard. I've had numerous other orders with incorrect or missing items, and when I report these issues through the app, nothing ever gets resolved. There was even a time I waited an entire hour just for some chips. If this location weren't the only Chipotle near my workplace, I would never order from here again. The service is consistently below average. If you have the option, I recommend going to a different Chipotle; this one struggles to get orders right.
This is my third visit in the last three weeks, and they still don't have veggie fajitas. When I asked the manager about it, his response was rather nonchalant, stating that they don't have enough staff to cut the vegetables. If that's the case, they might as well close the location. The service has been disappointing, and they really need to hire more skilled and experienced employees.
This place is the worst. Go to the one on Rochester road. This location should just be closed. I don’t even know why it’s still open they’re out of everything they’re closed on random days or you walk in and it’s somehow online order only. It’s been this way for 3 years. Go anywhere else. Me and my friends keep a list of every time there’s some sort of issue there and it’s a long list. One time I went there and they were like sorry no chicken it’s all spoiled. Half the time you go there it’s card only or cash only. I’ve mobile ordered during normal hours before, driven all the way over there and the store is randomly closed on like a random Tuesday at 3 pm. This place sucks.
Awesome service! Staff is friendly! Definitely one of the best chipotle spots in the metro area!
