Tony's Diner - Rochester

I'm thrilled to see this restaurant in the Beechwood area! There is convenient parking available on the side of the building, which makes visiting city restaurants a breeze. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. I ordered the sharp beef pho, and it was fantastic! The flavors were amazing, and the beef was cooked perfectly. The prices are reasonable too—likely better than most pho spots. The ingredients are fresh, the decor is tastefully simple, and our waiter was very attentive. You really can't go wrong here. My only minor complaint is that the tea and broth could have been a bit hotter, but I tend to prefer my food extremely hot, and it was certainly not cold. Overall, this is a wonderful place, and I would highly recommend stopping by for some delicious Vietnamese cuisine!

This has become my new go-to restaurant since it’s just around the corner from my house, unlike having to travel all the way to Lyle Ave. The food is good, but I think the Bahn Mi Nam Vang is even better—no complaints otherwise! I ordered the steamed rice, which was incredibly satisfying, and I really enjoyed it. As someone from Thailand with a sizable Vietnamese community, this dish is familiar to me, but I’m thrilled to find it available here! I don't think I've seen this option elsewhere. I absolutely love it!

The food was fantastic, just like the service. I tried the spicy seafood soup, and it was perfectly flavored and well-balanced. I can't wait to return and try the dumplings!
