The Beer Market - Rochester

The beer selection is the only redeeming factor at this restaurant. I have been a loyal customer for years, but since the change in ownership, the menu has taken a nosedive. I can no longer recommend this place for a gathering with friends. The turnover of staff is extremely high, likely due to the fact that they are severely understaffed, especially on busy nights like Fridays. The service has also plummeted. Even with only a few customers in the restaurant, it took me over 15 minutes to get a second beer at the bar. The entrees are lackluster, except for the pizza, which is the only dish I would suggest. The rest of the menu is uninspired and uses cheap ingredients as main components. The once modern menu now resembles hospital food. It is disappointing to see even loyal customers leaving. The owner's refusal to address these issues speaks volumes. It's time for a menu overhaul if they want to regain customers' trust. They need to start caring about the quality of their dishes because consumers are tired of paying high prices for subpar meals.

I visited this restaurant today with a friend and we both enjoyed our sandwiches. The service was excellent. I would definitely recommend it.

Love the food (American style pizza) love the beer selection (lots of northeastern craft brews), love the atmosphere (laidback wear whatever, be polite), friendly and attentive staff. Just wish they would update the HVAC so I don’t smell like a pizza when I leave. I stop here regularly at least once a month.

This restaurant is a great spot to visit with your family and friends. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere are all top-notch and make for a very enjoyable experience.
