Phillips European - Rochester

The atmosphere was lovely and romantic. I had dessert and coffee, and I can't wait to return on Monday for the special French chicken, which looked amazing. The dessert was fantastic, and the coffee was good, though it was a bit on the cool side.

Absolutely excellent! The food here is consistently delicious. The dessert selection is fantastic! I'm a fan of the Caramel Pecan Cheesecake, while my wife adores the Viennese Meringue Cake. The service is also outstanding.

Indulging in high-end desserts at Phillips is a must for anyone who appreciates fine treats. This place isn't for those on a tight budget, but if you're looking for some of the best desserts in the city, you should definitely stop by. I opted for a sampler plate after checking out the display case, and I was also pleased with my dinner selections. While the decor may be a bit outdated, it is well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and attentive.

Our favorite place. The atmosphere and decor evolves a European continental café and is spacious and bright. You have the choice of tables or stands. It's pretty and you can have a normal conversation. Service was friendly, prompt and helpful. My wife Avril and I like to come for lunch, as there are no loud children or loud music. The lunches were perfectly prepared. The vegetables were crisp and not boiled over, and the sesame crumbled scallops were boiled properly without getting hard. The Illy coffee is very good. Bread was fresh and delicious. Avril enjoyed the Turkish melt sandwich. We had no desserts, but the presentation bag by Desserts looks delicious with a lot of choice. We often want to come back.

Great for dessert. I wouldn't recommend for dinner as the prices are high and food is mediocre but the desserts are fantastic!!
