Panera Bread - Rochester

The bread in my daughter's sandwich was extremely fresh. The apple chicken salad was outstanding! I really enjoyed the dried apple slices, and the pecans and feta added a wonderful touch to the salad.

The food took an astonishing 45 minutes to arrive. We placed our order at the kiosk, but there was no indication of the wait time. After waiting for 25 minutes, my husband approached the staff to request a refund, only to be informed that they couldn't refund a gift card, which seemed unfair. This left us with no choice but to wait for our food for a full 45 minutes or lose $35. I want to emphasize that I'm not blaming the staff, as I understand they were short-staffed, and I've visited before. I just wish there had been a sign near the kiosk to inform customers about the potential wait time.

It was the second time we came. Bowls of soups were served half way, I ordered a duet and server disposed half of the sandwich in front of me after checking my receipt? First time seeing something like this, so rude. Manager was nice enough to refill theother half bowl for one of the orders though. It is meh?

The butternut soup this autumn is absolutely delightful! However, the chipotle chicken sandwich was a bit lackluster, though the bread was quite pleasant.

Salat is very good. coffee is super good. apple is sometimes fresh.
