Maple Soul - Rochester

This place is a jewel. I almost hesitate to write this review because I want to be sure that I will make a reservation the next time I want a spectacular meal. The food is beautifully prepared, locally produced and imaginatively inspired. Smoked delicacies with pistachios and blue cheese. (See photo... it's beautiful too). The shrimps and grits are heavenly. Everything we ordered was perfect. And served by a charming and first-class server. The location is nice as eating in your best friend dining room (if your best friend is a world-class cook that leans out of open kitchen to recommend wine). I can't wait to go back. My wife and I run the Featherbed Inn in Waitsfield, and we will tell all our guests it is worth a 30-minute drive to spend an evening in Maple Soul.

I had the most delicious food! The Butternut Squash soup was amazing! I also had the homemade gnocchi, which was also amazing! The pumpkin Custardkuchen was also very delicious! Two enthusiastic thumbs??????? Map of Soul

Wow, the food here is spectacular. From the presentation to the flavors everything was delicious. Nice dishes. That was one of our best meals we ever had! Big little jewel and a must when you're in the area. You deserve a kiss?. The staff was also great and everyone super friendly. Very recommended!

Had a great dinner. We had a. 8:30 reservation but never felt rushed. Beer selection is probably the best I have seen outside of a taproom.
