Kareen's Jamaican Kuisine - Rochester

I only trust 2 Jamaican restaurants in Rochester when its time for a taste of the Caribbean; Kareen's earns my business every trip!The food is fresh and the staff are pleasant.

Food is always fresh… love it and love the fact that they except card.

Great place, great food, loved the ackee and mac and cheese especially. Wonderful flavor that you expect in everything. Friendly and patient service, also noticed they were very particular about cleanliness when serving. Have preferred veg patty and coco bread at other places but would try patties again, especially the tofu one as it's less common. Will definitely return for shrimp, rice and peas, and more selection of patties.

The service is amazing. I recommend picking up the hot sauce. The jerk chicken was super soft, no need for any knives. It was well flavored and cooked well. Thanks for taking such great care, Livie's!

Please check out this Jamaican restaurant on Howard Rd. The Curry Chicken is amazing with just the right amount of spiciness without too much. The Brown Stew Chicken is very tasty . The serving size is plentiful and sure to fill you up. I had the Beef and Chicken patties as well. They were a little too spicy for my taste but my niece loved them. For dessert we had the pond cake and the pound cake infused with rum. The rum infused pound cake was a bit strong. Definitely will be going back to sample their other dishes. It is a sit down restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
