John's Tex-mex Eatery - Rochester

I had a wonderful dining experience here, enjoying a great meal and some refreshing drinks. The restaurant offers seating at the bar as well as in the dining area. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. Prices were quite reasonable, with dishes priced under $10. The margaritas were particularly impressive—strong and flavorful. One large house margarita could definitely do the trick! We visited on a Saturday night at 7:30, and there was no wait at all; the place wasn’t too crowded, and there were both street and reserved parking available. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and our food was prepared in just 15 minutes. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

The service was quick, the portion sizes were generous, and the prices were reasonable. There's a lovely little outdoor terrace, although seating is limited. The salsa had a nice kick to it, although it was a bit spicy, while the guacamole was fresh but lacked flavor. The tacos—chicken, pork, and beef—were delicious. You can upgrade your guacamole from 4oz to 8oz for a small extra charge. The burritos look promising, so I plan to try them next time. Overall, it's a great spot to visit!

We visited as a large group of nine on Tuesday, and our experience was fantastic! The staff efficiently brought us our food quickly, and everything was delicious. The service was outstanding, and the drinks were just right! This is an excellent spot for an after-ball team dinner.

The food here is always SO GOOD, whether it is in or takeout, and everyone I interacted with was super friendly. Love that they have plant-based options. Super cute little bar inside or a terrace for outside food. You also have your own parking.

Big fan of our John's Tex Mex trips after kickball. I love the authentic foods offered and the expansive menu! I love the options and my favorite place to sit is outside under the lights
