Bitter Honey - Rochester

The food was excellent for the first time! I have bought the track plate that you can choose 3 different types from a variety of choices. They were all delicious! The loaded nachos were from this world. The drinks were also excellent. I definitely go back.

First time very satisfied with drinks, service and food. The first time here for my wife and I on a lazy, warm afternoon (gift certificate of our children). They just opened and we could sit outside on the veranda. Timing was right because the place was filled very quickly. Large servers that share the load when it is busy. There were some nice drinking recommendations that were not disappointed. The food was more mexican modern than traditional, so keep an open mind. A bit expensive but worth the experience in a unique city. We will try more drinks and snacks again. Thanks for a fun experience.

The Mexican restaurant is located right in front of the Rochester Regional Farmers Market and does not offer what you would call authentic or traditional cuisine from the region. But I'm honest because both the food and the atmosphere have fun! Seats in the indoor and outdoor areas are immediately available. Just focus on the tacos it can seem a bit expensive to $7 everyone. But once made in a duck of 3 tacos with one side of beans rice, it feels more reasonable. The beans rice were okay, but didn't bring much to food taste wise. The first Taco I tried was the Al Pastor: roasted pig, carburized pineapple salsa, cilantro. It was the most traditional of the 3 and was pretty good. The pig was spiced, but the pineapple was lost by the last bite. I was really excited to try the cook special called The Josh Allen: butter milk roasted chicken, hot honey sauce, blue cheese and celery dishes. The flavors were fantastic, but I wish the chicken breast they used was not so dry. My third taco was the baja: beer broken cod, Chipotle Ranch, cabbage Slave, avocado, pickled red onion and cilantro. Hands down the best night. Light and crispy with all other components work well together. Next time I think I could just order three of them and call it a night. Btw, the spicy margarita is legit. But if they ask you how sharp of 1 10 go with an 8 or higher. I asked for 6 and regretted not to bite.

Good service. Classic place with girls night out, couples and bachelor parties willing to start their night or chat inside or outside on the terrace. Good tacos and the best spicy margarita.

Came here for my 20 year high school reunion. It's a very nice restaurant and bar. Drinks were good. We had a taco bar as part of our private party event. Everything was tasty. It's a nice and chill spot. I'll definitely be back and recommend to anyone wanting some good tacos.
