Id have to say that the food and service has declined over the years. The food was so so. I couldn't finish my food. I was on my 2nd cup of coffee and 2nd iced tea. When I put the sugar in I noticed these black specs. Im guessing it was pepper. I know I couldn't figure out why I was feeling heat in my mouth from drinking my beverages. The waitress said it was pepper and took the sugar container and said oh my I dont know how that got in there. She said that some kids loosened the salt a little while back so they would dump all the salt out to be funny. She didn't say we will give you your drinks free of charge since I told her I was done. I would of expected at least some kind of discount considering I didnt finish eating. I wont be going back there. I know that I saved someone else from getting pepper in thier coffee. I didnt get a sorry or thank you. Its unexcusable.

We held a funeral banquet dinner at this family restaurant on July 27, 2024, and everyone who attended had a wonderful time. The staff was friendly and engaging, which really helped lighten the mood during this sad occasion. The food was served promptly and was enjoyed by everyone. I had a lovely meal with my parents this weekend and decided to return tonight for the black forest cake. It did not disappoint at all. It was absolutely delicious!

My wife and I finally decided to visit this restaurant after years of driving by, and we stopped in for breakfast. I'm so glad we did! The atmosphere is fantastic, with trains traveling around the ceiling—it's like a trip down memory lane. The portion sizes were generous, and the food rated a solid 4 out of 5. While it wasn't the absolute best, it was perfect for a quick breakfast. The only thing I regret is not getting one of the amazing-looking pastries that were very reasonably priced! If it weren't so hot and far from home, I would have definitely taken a few to go. We'll definitely be back!

I sure wish the old owners would come back. We were there for breakfast this morning after not going there for 6 months because the dinner we had was awful. Well nothing has changed. I had a cheesesteak omelet. The meat tasted reheated and old. The entire omelet had no taste. The toast had no butter on it. I had to beg for jelly other than grape. The coffee was old and bitter. My husband had eggs benedict; which was also tasteless. The hollandaise sauce was lumpy and the potatoes were barely cooked. Needless to say we won't be going back ever again. We gave them 2 tries. No more!
