Robe Seafood & Takeaway

I used to hate batter, haven't eaten it in about 20 years, but it looked so light and crisp that I decided to take a bite. And wow, it was amazing! I ended up eating the whole piece of fresh flake, batter included. It wasn't oily at all, which was a nice change from having to debatter it. My husband, who usually gets an upset stomach from oily fish, decided to skip it this time and ordered a plain hamburger without mayo. He was pleasantly surprised by how tasty it was, and once again, not oily. We ended up going back for dinner again tonight. This place is definitely a must-visit!

We stopped here for lunch on the way from Adelaide to Mt Gambier. I would like to say that it was the best fish and chips my family and I have had in a long time. The batter was so light and fish cooked to perfection. Thankyou for such an enjoyable meal.

I can't give this place enough stars - it's simply amazing! The customer service was fantastic and the food was beautiful. I will definitely be coming back next time I'm in Robe.
