Papa's Tomato Pies - Robbinsville

What a wonderful hidden gem of a restaurant! Our server, Ruby, made an excellent suggestion to enhance the mustard sausage pizza that we came to try. It was absolutely delicious! In fact, it was so good that our party of two didn't have any leftovers to take home.

The tomato cake was excellent. We tried both the plain version and the mustard pie, and to our surprise, the mustard pie was incredibly delicious! The white pizza, which is an Italian classic, was very flavorful. The Sweet and Savory Salad was decent, although it had more toppings than salad. However, the Caesar Salad was disappointing, and as someone who appreciates a good Caesar, I was let down.

"Excellent pizza! This was our first experience with Papa, and it did not disappoint. We ordered a regular pizza topped with mushrooms, and it was fantastic. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the cheese and toppings were delicious. We also tried the mustard cake for the first time, and it was surprisingly good. It had a unique flavor that reminded me of a spicy mustard dip. One thing I especially loved was that they serve RC Cola, which is hard to find these days, but it pairs perfectly with the pizza. Overall, the food was delicious. Keep up the great work! We’ll definitely be back soon."

This last Tuesday, 5 July. 2020 after 1st Leg of a group motorcycle ride with friends, considered here one of the best Trenton tomato pies known Old School Pizza Enthusiast 's. Today, visit was a return for me, but the first for Jerry, Butch and Lou.... We chose the traditional large mustard and a large onion, pepper and sausage!!! Everyone seemed to enjoy the fantastic thin crispy crust, delicious sweet tomato sauce and the improved aromas of the other fresh ingredients and toppings, including the subtle taste of mustard on the mustard cake, which also had Papa's tomato sauce on it. The cakes created here at Papa's Tomato Pie are what I wrote my posts reviews since Kit 's and my visit in February 2017 after reintroducing this style of pizza by an article by Peter Genovese the Star Ledger.

This is my favorite pizza place in existence! That mustard pizza was just fantastic. The wings were odd. They were a little sweet/tangy and crispy. Not a flavor I'm used too but still worth it. I'm going to try to come back one day but 2200 miles from home. Thank you for the experience! The only bad thing was getting in and out it took a few minutes but again so worth it.
