Barefoot Cay Resort - Roatan

An absolutely 5-star experience. I had a food allergy reaction that was entirely my fault and they quickly reacted and moved to replace the meal with something else that was absolutely delicious and divine. The dive shop is also one of the most beautiful places in Roatán for diving with the south-facing places that are all up and close. A fantastic experience! The place is beautiful. Just a bit on the expensive side if you are looking for something on the budget-friendly side.

They were remodeling while we were there so there was noise, but the rooms were beautiful, well appointed, and clean. The plantation shutters on the windows made a soothing whistle sound in the wind, and the beachy decor was spot on. The pool and the bar were beautiful also with travertine pavers, comfy, substantial furniture, and more shutters. The restaurant was great with friendly people and wonderful food. Be sure you like garlic before ordering. I would return in an instant

We stopped at Barefoot Cay for lunch and drinks. The owner was so nice and friendly. She took the time to show us the entire island. We walked around and looked at the beautiful room suites and the wonderful pool area. It has an enclosed dock for a 100ft yacht and also a 150 Pier for fishing and swimming. The restaurant was fantastic great food great service. We also had some cocktails from the bar. We spent a wonderful afternoon on Barefoot Cay. Highly recommend.
