White Rock Vineyard - Roanoke

We had on 12. May 2017 a rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding. Michelle and Greg were great. They made sure we had everything we needed. The guests enjoyed the tasting room and all the activities they had. Wine and beer were great!! I would definitely recommend to come by and visit her and greeted by her friendly dog, Brewster, who welcomes everyone. The venue was perfect for our tasting dinner... quiet, view was great and atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. If you need a venue for any type of event, I would recommend White Rock Vineyard.

Some of the best craft beers I've ever tasted! The wines are also very diverse in palate and taste. I love going here and enjoy the wonderful views they have from the vineyard. You simply cannot beat the price and quality of this place. The owners are very nice and make yourself a real guest. P.S. If you go at a time when the place is not busy, I would suggest to see if you can make a tour. There is a wonderful background for the entire experience, and you can enjoy your beer or wine while on it.

About a week ago, my cousin proposed his girlfriend here in White Rock. It was a surprise engagement he had planned months in advance. It started in October when he and I tried the wine and talked to the owners about a surprise suggestion. My cousin let Michele know he wanted to suggest his girlfriend in February. Michele let him know that the winery is actually closed in winter, but if they were in the city on weekends that he wanted to suggest, she would open the winery for him. It was an offer she didn't have to do and my cousin was incredibly remarkable that she did. I contacted Michele a few weeks in advance on her Facebook page to go over the details. Then the day before we spoke again to make sure everyone was on the same side. She gave quick answers. The day came without a hatch and my cousin friend was completely surprised! I recommend this winery as a venue for any special occasion.

Where is the sixth star on the rating scale? When we ran the road, on our first trip to White Rock Vineyards, we almost turned around, we thought we would never find the place and if we were, it would probably not be worth the ride. We were all wrong. We had such a pleasant experience that we came back... and again... and again. Go back. The wines are all good and the owners are magnificent. I personally recommend the Chardonnay; it's my favorite! If you are at White Rock Vineyards, you are at home; that is how the owners you feel, whether relaxing on the veranda, tasting wines or simply talking. We visited wineries all over Virginia and White Rock Vineyards is on the list above. There is more than wine in the vineyard. Keep an eye on various planned events such as K9 in the Vines Dock Diving Dogs.
