The Green Goat - Roanoke

Our server, Shannon, was attentive and really friendly. We received excellent service, and the food was delightful! I enjoyed the Cubano paired with asparagus and also sampled some sweet tater tots from a friend. The location is lovely, and I’m a big fan of the interior design. They even have fire pits outside and a corn hole setup, making it a fantastic spot for the whole family!

Chris was great! I spilt my drink and he was immediately there helping and cleaning it up. He even went as far as to get me a new drink without even asking for one. The food was also great, I suggest the wings!! Thanks Green Goat!!

My family booked the large room for a surprise party for me. The staff was great. The decorations were very festive and the food was delicious. My daughters were very complimentary about how accommodating and helpful everyone was. We will definitely go there again.

The Fireside Turkey sandwich with homemade chips was delicious. I added a side of their onion dip for chips and that was fantastic. Will definitely visit again next time in town.

As a first-time visitor, I have to say that this restaurant truly knows how to impress its guests! It has easily become one of my top 5 dining experiences! My server, Shannon, was incredibly friendly and made me feel like I was chatting with an old friend by bringing up topics from our earlier conversation later in the meal. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Bruce, who was an absolute delight! I came for brunch with friends (which starts at 10 on Sundays) and felt so welcomed and relaxed that I ended up staying for a beer and more conversation. I definitely plan to return later this week to explore the full menu. This place is truly a hidden gem, a refreshing change from the usual spots in downtown Roanoke. I highly recommend it for families, dog lovers, and anyone who enjoys good food and drinks! What a fantastic place!
