Reminis - Roanoke

Where should I start?? The drinks were AMAZING! We had 3 lemon drops and they were by far the best lemon drops I ever had. Eating was brilliant, BIG portions so expect to go home with left over. The owner and the staff were so nice and friendly!! We were in the city of Cary NC and this place was the highlight of our trip. It is hard to find good Italian restaurants where we are out. Reminis came home and reminded me how my father grew up in a great Italian family. We will be back:

If I could give this place a Michelin star, I would!! The best place I was in the Roanoke area. The kitchen is an open kitchen that lets you feel at home as soon as you get in. The smell of freshly baked fresh bread fills the air. My bf is from NJ and he always complains about Italian food here. He ordered the Pasta Natale and was blown away. On top of the amazing food Very recommended. Marla was our server. Absolutely amazing server.

I heard about my husband's cousin, so we stopped. They had tons to go orders, but we were the only ones we were sitting in. The server brought out the olive oil and spiced and I was thrilled. Usually, places that have legitimate oil and season for their bread are good. I was pleasantly surprised. I have the fetters Alfredo with shrimps. Next time I'd get a kid Alfredo without shrimp. There were 4 small shrimps on my huge plate of pasta. For some reason I got 6 shrimps, but maybe I read the menu incorrectly. The food was of course still good, so I would give them 4.5 stars (rounded to 5). The boy macaroni was good and very cheesy as macaroni should be. I tried my husband's gyro and that was also delicate and tasty. My older daughter loved her ravioli and ate almost the whole thing (she is a small six years old). Overall, I would come back, but make sure that the lunches or smaller portions of everything order. Update: 7/20/2022 Again visited with my husband's cousin's family. We've been asking for reservations since we had a party of 9. When we were there, we sat right away. The bread is delicious. My children loved it and ate a ton. Then we got the family style to share fatuccine among the girls (2 adults and children were 6, 8, 10, 13 and 16yo). One order of the Fatuccine family and one side of the chicken was enough for all girls when we ate the bread and a few appetizers. My husband and his cousin got their own orders and barely made a dent in them. The portions are huge and delicious. We'll probably come back when we come back.

Wow! Wonderful food, atmosphere and people! Watch this delicious (yes, could not resist a piece first) Ryan's Flatbread! And I can't wait to dig into the Greek salad! Reminis is my special treat. I recommend you try them. A new favorite!!!

Service was great. Family style meal for two was a great deal. The ceasar salad was fresh and flavorful. The bread was hot and delicious. Dessert was sooo good. We had a chocolate bomb and Tiramisu. Both were creamy and tasted great.
