Caribbica Soul - Roanoke

The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere for dining, and the customer service was commendable; however, the food was disappointing. It seems that the cook may have lacked experience, as the meals I received did not do justice to Caribbean cuisine. While the food was technically edible, I wouldn’t say it was enjoyable. In my opinion, nothing I ordered—be it the oxtail or the cake—was worth the over $60 I spent. The oxtail was unappealing in both appearance and taste, and the rice and beans were equally unsatisfactory.

This restaurant was absolutely fantastic and delicious! I was thrilled to discover this hidden gem in downtown. The food was incredibly tasty, the atmosphere was clean, and there was Caribbean music playing in the background, which added to the great vibe. The service was exceptional, making me feel right at home. I ordered the oxtails, rice and peas, and cabbage, and the meat was so tender it practically fell off the bone. I definitely cleared my plate! This is a must-try spot in the Roanoke area, and I will definitely be returning.

Delicious! This is the second time we?ve visited and we?ve had a great meal both times. We ordered oxtail and brown stew chicken, which were both so good. Sides are on point and so are their patties. Must visit!

I really enjoyed the authentic food at this restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming—some of the nicest people I've ever met. It was truly a delightful experience, and I will definitely be returning.

Wow. So good. Had the jerk chicken and my friend had the oxtails. I loved my jerk chicken but loved the oxtails more. The rice and beans were good. The veggies needed more flavor. Staff was awesome. Everyone checked on us and you could tell there was a lot of pride.
