During our first visit to Canada, we stumbled upon Yuzu restaurant and decided to try our first ever Poke dish for lunch. It was a fantastic idea! The restaurant is clean and modern with a great selection of delicious, high-quality food. We enjoyed our experience and will definitely be returning to Yuzu Sushi in the future.
Absolutely amazing quality! I stopped some maids and spring rolls that were already finished. I had low expectations as they were prefabricated, but they were extremely good. My husband and I ended them in about 5 minutes and... were so impressed! We ordered the 4 different Maki Rollbox with Avacados rolls, crab rolls, shrimp tempoura rolls and raw salmon rolls. Unreal.
My wife and I stopped in for a light supper. We each had a Misu soup and a small plate of sushi. The food was good.
To add to the disappointment, my oldest daughter, who doesn't like sushi, found a hair in her vegetarian spring roll. The waitress apologized and offered to bring her another one, but didn't offer to remove it from the bill. On a positive note, the sashimi I ordered was very good and seemed fresh, without any hair in sight. I would recommend that the management hire a real sushi chef to ensure fresh food and provide better customer service training to the staff. The place was empty at 2pm, so it's not like we were inconveniencing them by asking for a simple request like no wasabi on a roll. Unless you are desperate for sushi, I would suggest going to the grocery store instead - you'll get a similar product at a cheaper price.
