Lone Star Rib House - Riverton

Popped in here for a bite of lunch. The staff are fabulous and friendly. The manager was super friendly and lovely, she gave my mother cream and marsh mellows on her hot chocolate - very appreciated and going the extra mile. I had a steak sandwich and it was delicious. The chips were outstanding - just the way I like them. The service was quick and the meals hot. I certainly will be heading back for another visit when I return to WA. Thanks for a great meal.

I'd already been to Lone Star in Cockburn and that was a disaster so when our host booked us in here it was with some trepidation that I went along. The first plus was the staff, who were very attentive on the night we visited and could not have been more helpful. The second plus was that all meals were enjoyed by everyone at our table despite my grilled fish being quite dry - perhaps that's my fault for ordering seafood in a ribs/steak house!!!! Very generous meal sizes and the desserts could feed millions (they are huge) !! Quite good value for money and a Menu that caters for all ages and food preferences. I would probably go back to this particular Lone Star and take the family along.

We were not looking forward to dining here after reading the reviews. However we were pleasantly surprised. The steak was very , very tender and tasty. Sauce for the steak was however $2.50 extra. Service was good, not slow as per reviews. Although it was a cold night we were comfortable and not cold at all. Our waitress was very friendly. We recommend dining here but did think that it was a little pricey.

We must have been there on the coldest day ever - and the restaurant apparently is not allowed to close the doors. So even after we moved tables into a corener to be out of the freezing draft we were cccccold. enough of the negatives - but we were COLD.Great staff, a pleasure to have a professional waiting on you, taking orders for the whole table without taking notes, and getting all the orders right. Offewring suggestions, and warnings on size of the servs, that proved accurate.good food good service, but go there on a warm day!!!

The restaurant is themed perfectly to capture that western cowboy feel but its missing that spark to the place. Was overly to spacious and open, No music outside, only inside which is a shame as I love the outdoor feel with a bit of sound to my meal. The staff were very friendly but clearly not trained well. Nobody came to collect our empty plates for at least 20 minutes( even when we called the waitress over to ask for dessert menus she still did not take any of our plates away). My order was wrong after she repeated the right order upon taking it, I never received my side sweet potato and yet it was still on my bill, I shared the chocolate brownie which was a huge let down, it was burnt. Our other guests at our table had the dessert special which was cheesecake and that was awful, the cheese must be cheap or old cause it tasted OFF. I don't enjoy giving poor reviews but any feedback is good feedback.
