Online it said they had immediate seating, I had checked when we pulled up. When we walked in we waited about 15 minutes. Not bad for a Saturday night. I ordered a Pomegranate mocktail which was amazing. For an appetizer we ordered the vegan Mac and Cheese. Unfortunately, it was cold and there really wasn't any flavor they just added some green onions. We also ordered the Bakery bread. This was very good. My husband had the Vegan Burger with fries. He said it was pretty good. I ordered the Cajun Shrimp Pasta and it was delicious. Service was great. Overall it was good but do feel it was pricy for what we got. It was $99.00 before I added the tip.
Date night at new location. Wife and I arrived 30 mins early to reservation. The plan was to have a pre dinner cocktail at the bar but lo and behold there is no bar! Walk up counter to order drinks and we were directed outside to sit near entrance before our table was ready. Once seated the attentive server took our appetizer order and had good suggestions for first timers. Brussel sprouts were very tasty with a combo of cranberries and blue cheese. Entrees of short rib and Wagyu Ribeye arrived in good time and nicely presented. Short rib fall off the bone tender and very tasty with the loaded mash. Wagyu not too much. A bit disappointed in the flavor, or lack thereof. Had it prepared medium and the tenderness of the cut was lacking. All in all, a nice casual spot for some well rounded dishes, but the lack of a bar space and the mediocrity of a premium cut of beef dish are all that held it back.Parking: Old gas station covered parking out front. Might have to park further down in strip mall area. A bit dark at night with light fixtures not functioning.
All the food and ingredients even drink syrups are organic here. Food was good. We ordered a burger with sweet potato fries as side and ranch sauce. They charged us a dollar for the sauce. Burger was goos and fries were great. We ordered the shrimp cajun pasta, we liked it alot. And we didn’t like dark chocolate brownie. We didn’t like the brownie texture and the ice cream wasn’t the best. We waited around half an hour and asked twice to get our dessert! That’s why I’m not satisfied with the service. With tip and tax it came out 105 bucks without ordering drink. I recommend this place we liked the atmosphere and like to go there to try their drinks as well. I wasn’t sure to give 3 or 4 stars. I leave it with 4 for now. Let’s see next time!
Stopped here for dinner as we were passing through town. The place has a rustic, modern feel to it, situated along a rather quiet street. The food was okay. The fries with pulled pork was on the salty side. The tuna didn’t taste very fresh and lacked flavor. Pretty pricey for the type of food…
It’s my second time going to the Rustik Fork. The first time I went was in March. My meal was warm, at best. The hangar steak was thin and overcooked, which was my fault because I ordered it medium-well. This time I wanted to have an appetizer. I ordered the bread plate. It was very disappointing. Just toasted bread with a drizzle of balsamic oil. If the bread was cut into cubes, they could’ve passed as croutons. For my main meal, I ordered the same hangarsteak as I did in March, hoping the warm warm food was a fluke; it wasn’t. The veggies and steak were barely warm. The mashed potatoes were the warmest item on my plate. I don’t know if I will come back. For the prices, I expect my food to be served hot and have better quality.
