Snowflake Ice Cream Shoppe - Riverhead

Places like this are becoming increasingly rare to find. This spot is fantastic, and the wait is definitely worth it, especially since the line moves fairly quickly. They offer an impressive selection of ice cream flavors. My personal favorite is the pistachio with black cherries, and they really don't skimp on the cherries! In my opinion, their ice cream is a solid 9 out of 10, and the place has a charming old-school American vibe. The staff is friendly and efficient. If you're disappointed or rated it less than 4 stars because you dislike waiting or found the people in line to be rude, maybe you should take a look in the mirror. Just enjoy the ice cream or move on!

If you find yourself in Riverhead and are craving a tasty ice cream treat, you absolutely have to visit Snowflake. Their selection of ice cream offers everything from classic to unique flavors that will truly impress you. I particularly enjoyed the blue Cookie Monster flavor, which combines Oreo and cookie dough, while the Peanut Butter Crunch was fantastic! The Butter Pecan was out of this world! The prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are quite generous. If parking and seating weren't a concern, this would easily be a five-star review!

We were driving by when we spotted a charming sign for ice cream and noticed a line out front. We decided to stop, and the wait turned out to be shorter than expected thanks to the many staff members working efficiently! The girl at the front was incredibly friendly and offered us samples. We each ordered a baby-sized cone, which was more than enough. We tried the apple cider sorbet and the black magic woman flavor. Both were absolutely delicious!

Another visit here, always stop by when in Calverton or Riverhead. Usually pretty busy but s short line today. Very friendly staff. Great ice cream!

It is our favorite ice cream shop. We drive from NYC to get this ice cream. Well worth it. Only one suggestion, I understand all covid things, but please let the people walk in and order inside. We should go back to normal.
